Joel is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Court of Appeals for The Federal Circuit.  He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  Joel received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, and law degree from Hamline University. He is AV Peer Review Rated.  JDS’s practice focuses on prosecution of US and International patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and technology transfers.  His interests include Rotary International, local and state Bar Associations, Hudson Community Foundation, Habitat For Humanity, and our Town Board.
